As you leave Bishop Monkton heading towards Ripon you will pass under a railway bridge,after approx 150 yards there is the turning on the right for littlethorpe. Follow this road until pass under a second bridge, the road turns to the left, after 20 yards you will see an opening on the right with a low metal gate with stone’s either side of the enterance. Undo the combination lock and follow the track for 100 yards where you will find a carpark. The pond is just in front of the carpark follow the path past the bush’s. There are 18 pegs that are all easy to access.
Fishing consists of Tench,Perch,Roach, Rudd, Crusian Carp and a selection of other carp.
Littlethorpe has had a stocking program which is on going in 2019 the club put in 2000 F1’s and in 2020 50 mirror/common carp along with 23 Grass carp were stocked. This program will continue over the next few years to give the angler a great and varied days fishing.
